Sweet as Pumpkin Pie

To all our American readers (and those of you who just want to get involved): LondonLovelies wishes you a very merry Thanksgiving holiday!

Last year, I was up in the Catskills region of New York state, celebrating with friends round a home-made Thanksgiving dinner.

Not all of us can be so lucky this year, so if you’re still looking for somewhere to eat, Time Out has done a good ‘best Thanksgiving meals‘ feature you should check out.

The Diner, which I’ve mentioned before, is also doing a Thanksgiving menu, and View London also have a helpful list on other places to go if you’re stuck for ideas.

Whatever you decide to do, have a great holiday! x

July 4th Fireworks

Remember, remember, the 5th of November

November crept up on us quietly – with all this warm weather we’ve been having Ithought we were still back in early September – but with the start of the new month has come the real autumnal weather.

If, like me, you’re feeling the chill, check out Time Out‘s fine guide to the best fireworks around London – there are sure to be some large bonfires to keep you warm too.

Festivities start on November 5 through to November 14 with the Lord Mayor’s Show and Fireworks.

There is nothing better than some mulled cider, toffee apples and sparklers while keeping toasty by the fire – and everyone likes a FREE fireworks show!
