Agatha Christie Weekender

Not quite the same as a music event, but an event nonetheless – and if you like playing Cluedo in your spare time this could be the thing for you.

This weekend sees the British Film Institute host a weekend dedicated to the work of Agatha Christie.

You’ll have a chance to see screenings and onstage activity, and a carriage from the Orient Express will be stationed outside the Royal Festival Hall for you to have a gander.

Tickets for the screenings are available here, but be quick – there are only a few seats left for tomorrow’s activities.

Nearest Tube: Waterloo/Embankment/Charing Cross

Chocolate Festival? Oh, Go On Then!

It’s nearly Easter, which means one thing to most people: an abundance of chocolate.

Why not get ahead of the game down at the chocolate festival on Southbank?

It’s totally free, and you’ll get the chance to see chocolate sculptures, demonstrations and of course, buy lots of chocolate related products.

11am-8pm today, 11am-6pm tomorrow.

It takes place at Southbank Centre Square, Belvedere Road, behind Royal Festival Hall.

Nearest Tube: Waterloo

Thanks to Hannah B for recommending this one to me.  Drop me a line at londonlovelies@googlemail.com if you have any suggestions on things to do around the city!
