Lesbian and Gay Film Festival

As mentioned a few weeks ago on the radio show, London’s Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is now running at the British Film Institute.

The event opened on Wednesday, March 17 and is running until March 31.

There are a whole range of events, as well as films, on offer – including a Dusty Disco in honour of Ms. Springfield herself, talks and club nights.

Tickets are still available for some of the films – check the website for availability.

The British Film Institute is situated on London’s South Bank.

Nearest Tube: Waterloo/Embankment/Charing Cross

LGBT Careers Fair

I’m not in the habit of promoting careers fairs on LondonLovelies, but thought this might be of interest for some of you:

The Diversity Careers Show is on this Friday, Nov 20, at New Connaught Rooms in Holborn.  The event is open 11am – 5pm.

There are loads of exhibitors at the event, including Asda, Barclays Capital and Google – click here for a full list.

It’s free entry, but you have to register to attend – you can do that on the event website.
