World DJ Championships

I’m sure I’ll get hate mail for saying this, but the X-Factor of the DJ world is coming to London.  No? Ok then, what about a battle of the bands, if you will?

The UK leg of the DMC World DJ Championships is happening at Koko this weekend, as DJs from across the UK prepare to battle it out to be crowned champion.  Previous winners include Scratch Perverts and A-Trak.

There’s also a UK v France beatboxing battle – that should be worth watching – and a performance by Yarah Bravo.

The event is over two days, with the World Championships being held on Monday, October 18.  Tickets are available for one or both days, priced at £15/£25 respectively, and can be bought here.

Doors open at 5:30pm.
